OUR HISTORY
In September 2021, Joscas Foundation was registered with the State of California Department of Justice with State Charity Registration Number CT0276507.
In December 2021, the Department of Treasury/Internal Revenue Service determined that Joscas Foundation is exempt from federal income tax under Internal Revenue Code (IRC) Section 501 (c)(3). As a result, donations made to Joscas Foundation are tax deductible under IRC Section 170. Joscas Foundation is also qualified to receive tax deductible bequests, devises, transfers or gifts under section 2055, 2106, or 2522. We are further classified as a public charity organization under the IRC Section 170(b)(1)(A)(vi).
Joscas Foundation is dedicated to helping the homeless, sick and needy to transition into healthier and better living conditions. At the heart of this goal is empowering people by providing educational resources. As a result, we plan to embark on enlightenment and educational activities to help our target audience through avenues such as seminars, webinars, scholarships, etc.
In the light of growing and challenging realities in our neighborhoods, society and nations which require urgent attention, the need to promote awareness and act promptly with regard to these challenging realities have become inevitable and necessary.
Thus, as a non-governmental organization (NGO) with the vision to make a difference and a mission to offer pragmatic actions; The Joscas Foundation is committed to encourage and promote the ingenuity of children, youths and other members of society and also contribute our quota in promoting progress and societal development in diverse ways which will include: –
- Promoting advocacy and sensitization on issues of relevance to the society.
- Partnership and alliance with other organizations to make a difference in society.

Okpe Cultural Day Celebration Organized by Joscas Foundation.
The Joscas Foundation, led by Engr. Emmanuel Alloh, organized the cultural day celebration to promote the use of the Okpe dialect and preserve the cultural heritage of the Okpe people. The event was attended by prominent sons and daughters of Okpe, as well as well-wishers from the local community and the diaspora.
